Over the years, we have had the opportunity to develop a wide range of sustainable products for our clients, exploring materials and processes that reduce environmental impact without compromising quality or aesthetics. Early on, we discovered Valchromat, a coloured wood fibre panel known for its environmentally responsible composition and exceptional versatility, and it quickly became a material we love to recommend.
Valchromat is produced using recycled wood fibres and organic pigments, pressed and bonded with a low-formaldehyde resin, resulting in a dense, homogeneous panel that is both durable and environmentally considerate. Unlike surface-laminated boards, its colour runs through the entire material, allowing it to be cut, engraved, milled or sanded while maintaining a consistent finish.
This makes Valchromat ideal for precise fabrication, intricate detailing and long-lasting products that resist wear and chipping. Its strength and moisture resistance also extend product lifespan, reducing the need for replacement and supporting a more sustainable lifecycle.
Always eager to pursue responsible design choices, we have proposed Valchromat across a variety of projects, leading to distinctive and durable objects such as eco-friendly gadgets, trophies, signage and custom display elements. The material’s tactile quality and rich colour depth create a refined appearance while reinforcing a commitment to sustainability.
